Construction GFL inc. is a Quebec firm that recovers and re-values demolition concrete, cement residues and bituminous materials. We provide Greater Montreal's construction industry with leading aggregate-recycling service from our specialized Brossard site.

As the only operator in Greater Montreal exclusively dedicated to this activity, GFL — through accumulated expertise and continuous effort to develop technologies suited to the Quebec context — has developed crushing and conditioning processes that produce ecological recycled aggregates whose properties meet and exceed the most demanding standards for civil-engineering construction.

Where demolition materials were once landfilled, GFL — a pioneer in green environmental practice since 1991 — re-values them and produces over 275,000 tonnes of recycled aggregates every year, returned to the construction and civil-engineering supply chain.

A six-step recycling process.

From weighing the incoming load to re-using the conditioned aggregate — every step is documented, controlled and certified.

Weigh-in

On arrival at our Brossard site, materials are weighed, checked and registered.

Primary crushing

First-pass crushing to reduce particle size before sorting.

Sorting

Methodical sort — wood, metals and other unwanted debris are removed.

Final crushing + grading

Fine crushing and state-of-the-art screening — defined-size piles (MG-20, MG-31.5, MG-56).

Stockpiling

Granulometric analysis of each batch, then stockpiled by class ready for delivery.

Re-use

Over 275,000 tonnes/year returned to the civil-engineering and construction supply chain.
